Filtered reviews on yelp. Jay G. Kirkland, WA 8/20/2011 It is a awesome store with very helpful staff. The manager Darren Manci and the rest of the staff are very courteous, helpful and friendly. I was on the lookout for bike for my child and saw this store when I was driving by that street, the manager and other kid who were then in the store were very helpful, we are novice in bikes, showed us a couple of options and helped my child test drive both and recommended a bike that would work best for him. Also when I asked if they match competitive prices, they gave me another big name in the area and the manager himself called as well and checked the price for me to match it, but the prices were the same, hence there was no need for a price match. They also were willing to deliver it to my home and answered all the questions my child and I had and made us feel comfortable in a bike that fitted the child the best. I would strongly recommend this store to anybody. Looking forward to working with them for years ahead. Customer service is exceptional and they make you feel at home and also offered a warm 'thank you' for giving them the business. Mike V. Seattle, WA 7/25/2011 Yesterday during a beautiful but hot day I was 30 miles into a 60 mile ride I got a flat and used my only spare tube to fix. Not wanting to go the rest of the ride without a spare I hustled over to Woodinville Bicycle and Skate before they closed for the day. Unfortunately I missed closing by 15 minutes.
The store manager (Darren) was still there closing up and he let me in, sold me a couple of tubes, filled my water bottle for me and even offered up some sports drink to get me the salt and such I lose from sweating in the heat.
I was surprised and impressed with how nice they were doing whatever to help out their customers. Even though this shop is 20 miles away from my home, next time I need to buy a bike, parts, clothes or anything I'll make the trip. Buy stuff here, I highly recommend them.
Mike.
Bryan F. Woodinville, WA 4/25/2011 Have done business with this shop for several years -- top notch in every way. I have bought several bikes and have had excellent service. They love what they do, respect their customers and go out of their way to give customers good value and a great experience. Keep up the great work, Mike, Darrin and Cory!
Sarah V. Kirkland, WA 8/8/2010 Woodinville Bicycle is OUTSTANDING!! Everyone is very knowledgeable, friendly, willing to help, answer questions, teach, and make sure you walk out of the store happy. I am new to cycling and had a budget for my new bike. The staff respected my budget, taught me about what to look for, how the correct bike should fit and feel. I have been back several times to ask questions, and go for test rides. I feel taken care of and know I will get an honest opinion. I will use Woodinville Bicycle for all my cycling needs. Thank you Darren, Christina (Christian) and the Woodinville Bike staff!! Cheers - Sarah Jason C. Lynnwood, WA 8/3/2010 This review is for Woodinville Bicycle 13210 NE 175th St Woodinville, WA 98072 (425) 483-6626 http://www.woodinville... The reason I'm going through the hassle to specify the shops information is because I've seen some reference to a Woodinville bike & skate shop which has a poor review. I'm trying to avoid any confusion. I have not seen any skates at this shop, and feel like it might have been confused with another store. Experiences so far: Awesome! :) Examples: 1) Commuting home from Bellevue to Lynnwood after work on the Sammamish River trail and a fellow biker tells me my rear tire is out of true. Come to find out I have a busted spoke, and a couple loose ones. I've got 20 miles more before I get home, so I carefully travel another 8 miles and stop at Woodinville Bicycle. It's already 20 min's to store closing and the mechanics are busy, but they find time to fix me up anyway. All of the employees were extremely helpful, and happy to help. Sweet!! I didn't have to catch a bus and walk home in road bike shoes. 2) I've been experiencing knee problems for months, and it was really taking the pleasure out of riding. I had had a bike fitting done elsewhere, but it didn't correct my problems. I scheduled a bike fitting at Woodinville Bike because they are certified in both http://BikeFit.com and Specialized fit methods. After a 200 mile Seattle to Portland ride and 600 miles total so far, my knee problems are almost gone. I may need one more slight adjustment (which is included in the original fitting), but I'll give it a few more hundred miles to confirm, and make sure it's not form the preexisting issues. 3) One of my friends stopped by the shop in the middle of a ride because she had a flat. She was fixed in no time, and with a better quality tire (at her request, not by employee up selling), and hasn't had a flat since. My experience at this shop from unexpected bike service, parts and accessories recommendations & purchase have all been great. There's no BS, they're friendly and helpful, and I'll continue to make this my primary shop whenever possible. Some gear pricing may not be quite as competitive as you would find at Performance or Greg's, but you do get what you pay for. George T. Bothell, WA 7/9/2010 These folks have been doing great bike tune-ups for me for 10 years or so. Good selection of accessories, good recommendations about equipment, and a fantastic taping job! We changed gearing on a mountain bike and I was surprised how reasonably priced it was.

Hey guys,
Ryan Hughs here who had you all order that 2012 Epic Comp 29er. First, just some thanks for an awesome experience from initial questions and browsing to bike fit. This was one of the best cycling decisions I've ever made. Which leads me to the second thing about this bike:
Faster. Better. Period. This thing is freakin amazing! My other mtb (which is up for sale already!!) is an Epic 26er. It is an incredible improvement. A few things most noteworthy: 1) the 29er climbs technical and tight corners BETTER. that's right, smoother, easier, faster = better. I couldn't believe it when I hit a very familiar super-tight and technical switchback climb and I was spinning the pedals thru what the day before took alot of concentration. 2) once i had the bigger wheel turning radius down i was railing descents. i was a bit shocked! the front end of this bike is very stiff, to boot. ready for a Super D win. 3) i also actually found i COULD 'throw it around' and jump it like my 26er. this is the thing everyone says you might miss with a 29er. not with this bike! (i'll let you know how it does at Duthie on the bigger tabletops etc.) 4) i LOVE my body position on the bike. everything from feeling like i have 'access' to all my power (thru my core to my legs thru the full pedal rotation) to being able to easily stand up even on steeper climbs (!) and a) not loose traction, b) accelerate in a noticeably quicker fashion
I could go on, but that's enough ;). In my opinion, for cross country applications of ANY kind, the debate between 26er and 29er is over. these are faster period. i'm sold. for good!
Darren, Mike, the rest, thanks!! see you soon for a tune-up ;) Ryan Hughs
